Jonathan Ginn

Born in Sacramento, California, Jonathan grew up in a Christian household and was taught the gospel from an early age. He experienced God’s saving grace and believed on the Lord Jesus at the age of 6, and was baptized a few years later. During high school, after having numerous opportunities to preach and teach in his local church, Jonathan began to aspire to the office of elder and prayerfully sought the counsel of his church leaders. Berry Driver Jr. PROFESSOR OF CHURCH HISTORY (2014); ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACADEMIC RESOURCES; SEMINARY LIBRARIAN Prior to his coming to Southern Seminary, Driver served as dean of libraries and professor of systematic theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1996-2013. He has also held teaching and administrative positions at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Driver has served as pastor of churches in Alabama, Tennessee, and New York. He is a member of the American Library Association. Driver is married to Kathy, and they have three children: Jeremiah, Charis, and Daniel.

John Michael

John Michael is an investment advisor and Certified Financial Planner (TM). His wife, Harriet, was born in Nigeria where her parents served as SBC missionaries. John served as a Southern Seminary trustee during the controversy years of the 1980’s and early 1990’s (you can read about it in his book, A Stand for Truth, which John co-authored with Harriet), and presently serves on the seminary’s Foundation Board.
